When’s the last time you gave yourself a few minutes to tune into your body and focus on the present moment sans screens? This is a practice called mindfulness.
One of the ways to practice being mindful is by listening to your body and being aware of its sensations, emotions, and needs. This is also called embodiment.
In this episode, we welcome mindfulness of the body (embodiment) as a radical rest practice. There is a plethora of ways to connect with your body in such a mindful way, and in this episode, Bethany and Nieicie introduce you to them! We also explore the following topics…
Key Topics

- Mindfulness of the body
- Black embodied practices
